Anxiety is much more common than many of us realize. Symptoms can be debilitating and can lead to physical stress, hinder daily activities, disrupt relationships, and significantly impact your quality of life. Coming to therapy for anxiety can help you to develop tools, process emotions, manage symptoms, and gain support so that you live a more peaceful and fulfilling life. 


When you’re stuck in depression, it can be hard to see a way out. Although it can feel like your days are on repeat, depression is not something that has to go on forever. Your therapist can help you take practical steps to feel better. Additionally, therapy can support you in processing the challenging and emotionally draining feelings that are frequent visitors during a season of depression.


Often the most challenging moments in our lives come from experiencing the loss of a loved one. Because of the complexity of grief we often feel lost or isolated in the process. It’s never easy to navigate life after a significant loss. However, having a therapist on your side to actively listen and help you explore your feelings can have a profound impact on being able to make sense of this often overwhelming experience and start the process of re-engaging with life again.

Unexpected or unwanted challenges during these times of life transition can leave us feeling overwhelmed and stressed out. Therapy provides a space where you can reflect on your values, remember your strengths and stay focused on the bigger picture so that you can more easily navigate the ebbs and flows of life transitions.

Relationship Issues

Relationship issues can be complex, often leading to feelings of disconnection and frustration. Therapy provides a safe space to explore concerns, identify patterns, and develop effective communication and coping skills, so that you may gain a deeper understanding of your attachment style, learn to communicate more effectively, and build stronger bonds and intimacy in your relationships.

Religious Trauma / Deconstruction

Examining and reevaluating beliefs and values related to religion can feel like a complicated process.  Therapy can provide a supportive and non-judgmental space for individuals to question the teachings or practices of a particular religion, work through trauma or disillusionment related to religious institutions or authority figures, and explore developing a new sense of self and purpose.

Teen & Young Adult Therapy

We provide therapy for adolescents and young adults from age 14 and up. This time in our lives can be especially challenging as we are often faced with academic, social, and personal pressures, all while building our own identity and navigating life transitions. Therapy can provide a safe space for teens and young adults to explore their thoughts and emotions, build self-esteem and work through a range of issues, including anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and identity development.

Trauma / PTSD

Trauma is a distressing experience that can leave individuals feeling overwhelmed and vulnerable. Its effects can be long-lasting, including symptoms such as anxiety, depression, nightmares, flashbacks, and avoidance behaviors. Therapy for trauma can help individuals process their experiences, learn coping strategies, and develop resilience to better manage symptoms and begin the process of healing.
